Year 2 Tuition
Our English and maths tutoring for primary school is all about getting children engaged. Kids who have fun while learning tend to grasp concepts more easily and look forward to tutoring. We cover everything they’re learning in school, and even personalise our sessions to match their current schoolwork.
Our primary school tutors are experts in finding out what works best for different children. Both kids and adults all learn differently, and our tutors in Bondi, Maroubra and Earlwood take the time to understand your child’s needs. The result is engaging tutoring sessions that help your child love learning.
A Supportive, Nurturing Environment
We deliberately create a very supportive environment in our tuition sessions. This is because we know that children who are comfortable learn a lot better. Confidence is a big part of learning, because kids need to feel safe that they can make a mistake without fear of punishment. Learning is all about making mistakes, so we encourage it! That shows us a child is confident to give things a try, and that’s so much better for their education.
Year 2 tuition involves a range of teaching methods where your child feels safe, comfortable and engaged. Our tutors always have a smile on their face, and your kids will love coming to their tuition sessions!
Identifying Knowledge Gaps
Education moves quickly. In the school environment, children learn one concept and quickly go on to the next. Problems occur if a child doesn’t understand one concept, for example, multiplication. This then makes division difficult. The cycle goes on, and children fall behind. These are known as knowledge gaps, and our tutors work to find those gaps and fill them in so your child can move ahead at school with confidence. Some children just need a little more help. It’s not a bad thing, and we’re here to provide that help.
At First Education we build passion and confidence in our students so they can conquer their goals!
