Absolutely recommend First Education 100%. My child went from a C student to an A student within 2 terms. If I'm being completely honest, I wish I had begun with the tutoring from day 1.

Julian (child's tutor) is patient, understanding and is happy to accomodate any requests we may have. I also found his communication style of responding promptly to parents text, outstanding.

I have no hesitation recommending this business to anyone. If your child needs the extra help, there is no better place.

Both of my sons have received tutoring at the Bondi Rd classrooms of First Education. It has been very effective in terms of significantly increasing their confidence and competence in the subjects of Maths and English. The tutors, Tali and Katherine were attentive and skilled, provided feedback on my son’s progress and were sunny personalities too which meant the boys were always keen to attend. Actively seeing themselves improve in their class test results was motivating and a good indication that the tutoring was a good investment of effort.

The team in Bondi was really great . Very thoughtful and invested in the process . I loved the fact that there was a lot of pro active following up and checking in on the progress of the student . I highly recommend First Education, especially Daniel Agmesheh as a tutor. He really knows his stuff and has a knack for explaining tricky concepts in a way that makes sense. Daniel creates a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that helped my son feel comfortable and confident (and he’s a picky little fella. Hardly likes anyone and absolutely loves going to Daniel’s sessions).

5 stars all the way. I contacted First Education looking for year 12 Economics & Maths tutors in term 3. My requirements were very specific and also very last minute. Harry & his staff found the right tutors really fast after listening to what was needed. Jordan & Finnegan are excellent tutors, very patient and understanding, and they know the curriculum. Luci (admin) & Harry checked in along the way to make sure all was going well. They have several centres so even assisted when one location was more convenient than the other. I cannot rate First Education Bondi highly enough. The tutoring was outstanding, my son absolutely loved going and Thea (his tutor) was always checking back with me to see if I was satisfied (which I absolutely was!).
First Education also provided extra help during the holidays putting on practice Selective Schools Tests. These all helped to make my son feel really happy with his performance on the day.

I joined Harry’s 4u maths group tutoring during the holidays before trials which truthfully has brought up my marks and confidence that, at the end, became something I was proud of. The consistent process of doing past papers and Harry’s excellent explanation for the questions we got wrong made studying for 4u less stressful and more enjoyable. I attended tutoring for Math for both yr 11 and yr 12. It was really helpful as a student to go in every week and review what we did in class + some related questions that helped me better understand the concepts. All the tutors, Harry and Andrew care a lot about the students and try to find new and different ways in order to explain topics and create a welcoming environment. I felt motivated to learn and it was a nice/fun environment to attend every week. Definitely recommend to anyone who is stuggling even the slightest!

I’ve tried many different English tutors during year 11 and couldn’t find the help I needed. When I joined first education, I was warmly welcomed and all the staff were polite. I performed well in my HSC, being able to understand and answer questions to a high standard. I can say from my experience of accomplishing the HSC in 2024, First Education was an enormous help in my darkest hour!

3-4 weeks before my ancient history examination, I felt completely lost. My teacher was sadly quite unwell, and I personally couldn’t understand the logic and reasoning behind the style of writing required for the subject.

However, having been matched with a wonderful tutor, it brought so much clarity not only to the writing style, but also the mark ratio to the amount of sources I needed and also the necessity to maintain conciseness in my points. It brought me so much peace of mind!

What a wonderful time my daughter had at first education, I wish i had found first education earlier. My daughter needed help with chemistry yr12, I approached first education, from her first lesson which was complementary, she loved it her tutor Jake she could not rave enough about him. My son Ary yr 8, was only taught maths one way in school, but there are many ways to teach maths ,just have to find the way it works for u.Jonathan Tudor at first ED found a way which worked for my boy.Did his homework without me trying to go back 20yrs of memory and googling for hours to help my son. Jonathan is great , friendly, respectful and his teaching methods work. I'm glad we got him and didnt have to go tudor Hunting. Can't put a price on my kid, esp when results were 4 weeks in with FD was 26/35 in maths test ,b4 4weeks it was 5/30 and he studied for this one, confidence wasn't an issue but how to save knowledge as a memory tool was for my son. They gave support and patience while Going through crisis.
I recommend Jonathan, U well see a results.

Don't take your kids here, very rude and will not teach your kids.

My son was tutored in chemistry this year for year 12. Sebastian, his tutor, has significantly improved his results and provided him with a love of chemistry which was definitely not there beforehand and will be with him beyond the HSC! I fully recommend First Education.

By far my favourite part of year 12. Harry taught the maths content amazingly and made it so much fun. If it wasn’t for first education I wouldn’t have been prepared for the hsc as much as I was. I looked forward to tutoring and the preparations for exams were excellent. I truly believe I wouldn’t have received a band 6 for maths without their help.

Without a doubt the best place to be tutored, I was tutored at first ED for maths throughout my schooling experience. Without the extensive support I received I wouldn’t of been able to receive the band 6 I acquired. Other than highly educated tutors, the culture at first ED was something that made me look forward to going tutoring weekly. Additionally, the ease of building relationships with my tutor made my stressful years of exams that much easier. First education had been fantastic and has helped my son advance in 2u maths. My son has developed more confidence in himself and the good results are showing in his school assessments. The tutors are friendly and very knowledgeable and work very professionally in helping the students understand the concepts rather than just wrote learning answers to problems. I recommend first education to anyone wanting to improve their subject knowledge to gain every advantage in the HSC.

My son Peter took so well to first education that he advanced so much, that he was eventually asked to be a tutor. He tutored Maths for 4 years at First Education and he thoroughly enjoyed his time there and helping the young students advance in their math studies.

My son has now nearly completed hi maths secondary teacher degree and has been offered a job at Holy spirit and unfortunately is unable to continue as a tutor. Because of First Education he has become an exemplary teacher, who is now very sought after at most high schools and he is doing absolute wonders in helping other children in their maths journey.

I am forever indebted to Harry and his team at First Ed who are first class and very professional in the way they go about their business. They have been great to deal with and I wish them all the best in their future success in helping many teens reach their goals in life as my son has.

My daughters went to First Education for help with Year 9 and year 10 Mathematics. First Education offer a professional service, work scheduling in with other activities and are lovely people. Sofala was our Maths tutor and I can highly recommend her. Both my girls grades improved and they both told me Sofala was better than some of their teachers. We were very happy with the service and outcomes.

Sofala is giving my daughter so much confidence that we are seeing improvements in all her school work. We have had one to one tutoring for a whole term- my son really enjoyed his teaching sessions with his tutor. In the school holidays however, he did the Naplan prep courses (4 sessions over 2 days) and absolutely loved it - he raved on about Natalie and when I came to pick him up on the last day, he did not want to go home!
From my side, the exams were a good reflection of what he will be expecting this year and the immediate feedback I think is also helpful! We now have areas of improvement to work on!
We will definitely at the very least be back for all the holiday workshops!

I highly recommend First Education Maroubra to any student who is looking for extra confidence in their subjects. I have three children who all attended First Education. My daughter in 2019 and currently my two sons one in Year 12 and the other In year 10.

Harry Mav the Director of First Education is highly professional and an excellent leader. He is very thoughtful and understanding nothing is a problem. It’s the little things that count!! He is constantly looking at ways to improve his service delivery. He values constructive feedback. He follows up on student’s learning progress making sure the tutors are the right mix.

Then there is the Centre Manager Mary who is absolutely amazing!!! I can’t sing her praises highly enough. Nothing is a problem she will ALWAYS find a way to accommodate your child’s needs.
Mary is efficient, compassionate, positive and professional. She will follow up making sure your child is happy with their tutor. If there is an issue she will come up with strategies to resolve
it.

The tutors are well resourced and dedicated. Always encouraging the child to learn, in a positive manner, to reach their full potential.

I can’t recommend Harry and his team at First Education enough. Do yourself a favour if your child needs assistance with learning give First Education a call. It will be the BEST phone call you have ever made!!

Harry Mav the Director is the definition of a true and inspirational leader! His care and compassion was evident from the first time I spoke with him. Everyone at First education is extremely welcoming and friendly which made it a very comfortable environment to work in, I’m usually very easily distracted but going here made sure I was able to have a healthy balance between talking with the tutors and getting to understand the schoolwork. Harry is an excellent tutor. Great to chat too as well and a good mix of kind but able to keep you honest.

He also makes a huge effort to keep in touch, catch up with his former students from time to time, and to maintain a community around First Education. Highly recommend!

I went to First Education back in 2012 for both Maths and Physics. To date, one of the best learning experiences. Harry had a way of explaining things easily that even the content I found hard I was able to learn them. The experience also leaves you with a great relationship with your mentors.

We have two boys who go to First Education and they have been going there for a couple of years now we find Harry and his staff absolutely fantastic with their help the boys have excelled and have thoroughly enjoyed their learning experience. We find that Harry and his staff are on top of things and are constantly calling us to review how the boys are going and if we are happy as well that’s what we love about First Education.

My daughter started tutoring with Lilla this term and I saw an almost immediate change in her confidence. She enjoys doing school work now & is keen to get her homework done to the best of her ability. Lilla has made a great change in her attitude. I highly recommend First Education, the team are friendly & helpful & very organised. They check in with feedback often. My daughter had a video conference this week due to restrictions & said it was as good as being in person, so it's great you've been able to keep things as normal as possible for your students. My daughter loves coming to First Education Maroubra every week. Harry and his team provide such a warm and positive environment for her to be in. From the moment you walk in the office and greeted by Mary who’s so lovely and friendly to my daughter’s incredible tutor who she calls Miss Karly who she absolutely loves and adores, has made such an impact on her learning which she is enjoying so much! I also love the regular feedback on her progress. Harry and the team are truly just beautiful people who really cares about the students and families. If you are thinking of coming here do it- you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend First Education. Thank you Harry, Mary, Karly and team you guys are simply the best we love you!

This is my second experience at First Education for my second child and both have been outstanding. The tutors are excellent, encouraging, reliable and accommodating and the management is the same.
