Through the creation of increasingly individualised, accessible and evaluative learning opportunities, artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionised education for students. Additionally, helping to better assist teachers and provide global learning platforms are also major contributions to education.
AI has allowed teachers to tailor their educational approach at scale platforms. Instant feedback, content modification and difficulty level adjustments allow students to tackle content and assigned tasks in a way that suits their pace and compliments their unqiue learning styles and preferences.
Similarly, the improved accessibility of AI allows for a significant increase in student acess to education, particularly those with learning difficulties and disorders such as Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and visual/sensory impairments. For example programs like Speechify and NaturalReader allow stduents to interact more flexibly with textual content (PDFs, word documents etc.). Obstacles for those deaf/hard-of-hearing are also, more easy to address thanks to AI-powered captioning.
Additionally, astute evaluation and input AI allow for continuous assessment and evalutation to become possible in other ways than traditional high-stake testing. Educators are able to more easily make informed judgments regarding stduent capability and understanding, as well as the effectiveness of their implemented activities. As such, this allows for an accelerated learning rpocess for students to more readily recieve feedback and progress updates.
Assiting teachers via automatic repetetive processes such as grading and giving feedback allows teachers to concentrate on higher, more significant tasks and activities like developing meaningdul student-teacher relationships, lesson planning and one-on-one mentoring. Additionally, AI is easily able to identify which pupils needs extra help and can help create and provide instructional materials.
Finally, opportunities for global learning via AI helps to link students and educators across the globe, specifically by facilitating cross-cultural cooperative initiaves and communciation. AI enables a brilliant opportunity for international student relationships while simultaenously enabling teachers to give every student an increasingly mroe inclusive, interesting and successful education.
