Starting high school is a big step. Classes are more formal, there’s more homework, and students take on far more responsibility for their own learning. Our one on one tutors help Year 7 students adjust, fill gaps and move forward with the rest of their class.

How we teach Year 7
More mentors than tutors
Our tutors are university students in their early 20s, so they remember the pressure. We headhunt them for their ability to build a student’s passion and confidence.

Sessions follow what students are studying at school right now and focus on the specific topics holding them back, rather than generic worksheets.
Study skills that transfer
Alongside the content, we teach time management, note taking and exam technique. These skills lift every subject, not just the one we’re working on.

We record what we cover each week and call once a term to touch base, so you always know how your child is going.
