How we teach Year 5
Truly one on one
Every session is just your child and their tutor. There are no group rooms and no waiting for attention. Lessons are planned around exactly what they’re learning at school right now.
Mistakes are part of it
We keep things supportive and low pressure, so children feel safe to ask questions and have a go. Confidence is a big part of how young learners progress.

We work out which building blocks your child has missed and patiently fill them in, so the next stage of school feels doable instead of overwhelming.

NAPLAN that works two ways
During Year 5 every child sits NAPLAN across numeracy and literacy. Our tuition works in two ways. First, we help your child prepare for the test itself. Second, we use their results to pinpoint exactly where they’re struggling.
Sessions are interactive and flexible. Games, puzzles and real world examples make learning stick, and your child’s tutor adapts to suit them. Every child gets the attention to learn their own way, and that’s the First Education difference.
