Why the first few weeks of school matter more than you think
We don't have online enrolment, because we want first to talk.

the first few weeks back at school usually feel pretty easy. there arent many assignments yet, exams are still ages away, and everyone is still settling into new classes and routines. because of that, it can be really tempting to think you can relax now and start taking things seriously later.
but honestly, those first few weeks matter more than people realise.
this is usually when teachers are introducing the basics of each subject. if you miss something early on or dont understand, it can become a bigger problem later when the work starts getting harder. this happens alot in subjects like Maths, where new topics often build on things youve already learned.
the start of the year is also the easiest time ot get into good habits. things like doing your homework when you get it, keeping your notes organised and asking questions when youre confused might sound simple, but they make a huge difference once school gets busy,
you also dont need to be studying for hours every night. even spedning a little bit of time going over something you didnt understand that day can stop it from becoming a bigger issue later.
tutoring can help with this too. you dont have to wait until youre completely lost before getting help. sometimes its better to fix small problems early, while theyre still easy to manage.
starting the year well doesnt mean being perfect or constantly studying. it just means staying on top of things before they pile up. a little effort early on can make the rest of the year feel alot easier.
