Have Some Faith In Yourself and Appreciate Your Growth
We don't have online enrolment, because we want first to talk.
Please fill this in the form below, and then we'll walk the walk.
Sometimes we're so focused on what we still need to learn that we forget to look at how far we've already come.
Think about the first time you learnt something that now feels completely normal. Reading a book, doing basic maths, writing a paragraph, riding a bike. At some point, all of those things were new.
That's something we can easily forget when school gets harder.
A student might look at a difficult question and immediately think, "There's no way I can do this". But they they start working through it. Maybe they get the first part wrong. Maybe they need a little help. Then they try again and suddenly they're halfway there.
That small moment matters.
Progress isn't always getting a perfect score. Sometimes it's understanding one more question than you did last week. Sometimes it's putting your hand up and asking for help. Sometimes it's simply having another go instead of giving.
Tutoring gives us the chance to see these little changes happen. They might not seem like much at the time but over the weeks and months they add up.
So if you're feeling like you're not improving, take a second to look backwards , instead of forwards.
Think about something you can do now that you struggled with before.
You might surprise yourself.
You don't need to be the smartest person in the room. You don't need to understand everything straight away. You just need to keep giving yourself a chance to improve. Because sometimes, the person standing in your way isn't the difficult question. It's the voice in your head telling you that you can't do it.
